Daniel Bautista
Position title: Intern, UW South Madison Partnership

Daniel is a senior at UW – Madison double majoring in Personal Finance and Health Promotion & Health Equity. He is the president of First-Generation Student Success, an organization on campus that serves to help first-generation students locate resources, connect with peers and faculty, and support them along their college journey. He is on the Diversity and Inclusion Student Advisory Board, a board that advises the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Chief Diversity Officer on improving the underrepresented/minority student experience at UW – Madison. He aspires to assist people by improving their quality of life, with the specialty of financial literacy or health promotion. He aspires to be a Certified Financial Planner and work with underrepresented communities. At UWSMP, Daniel supports the expansion of UWSMP’s public relations through social media and digital technology. He assists with campus and community partner projects, with the opportunity to present new ideas and independently lead projects.
